Email Communications

If you have registered for some Services and have supplied an email address, you will receive emails pertaining to your registration. Physician Test Requisitions

The Lab will not use or disclose your personal health information it receives from your physician when he orders a Lab test without your written consent or authorization, in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.

Health Information

If you are a healthcare consumer who chooses to use the educational information on the site, you should not rely on that information as professional medical advice or use it to replace any relationship with your physician or other qualified healthcare professional.  This site is not an attempt to practice medicine or provide specific medical advice.

Restricted Areas of the Site

Access to secure and/or password-protected areas of this site is limited to authorized physician users and requires creation of an account. Physicians must provide complete, accurate, and current information on the account and updated as appropriate.  Physicians are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account and password information, and agree not to share or distribute account password information. Physicians agree to notify Lab immediately of any unauthorized use of their account or any other breach of security. Physicians further agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under their account or password.

Security

Lab uses industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology in receiving information that you elect to provide to us.  Your information is processed and stored on controlled servers with restricted access. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to the Services, and you do so at your own risk. Lab therefore disclaims any warranties or representations relating to maintenance or nondisclosure of private information.

Governing Law

You agree that any dispute relating to privacy or the terms in this Privacy Policy will be resolved according to the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict of law rules.  Lab makes no representations that this site is available for use in other locations. Physician ordered tests and results are subject to the terms and provisions of the applicable Lab Test Requisition Form(s) and the provisions contained within the Methods and Limitations section of the Data Analysis Test Report delivered to the ordering physician.
